Terms and Conditions of Business for Hiring Hyperbaric Chamber (HBot) in the United Kingdom for Complementary Therapy
1. Introduction
These terms and conditions govern the hyperbaric chamber (HBot) by Applied Technology Ltd (the “Company”) to the hirer (the “Customer”) for complementary therapy purposes in the United Kingdom.
2. Booking
2.1 The Customer must provide the Company with the relevant information required for booking the HBot, which includes but is not limited to the intended date(s) of delivery, the location of the HBot, and the name of the operator.
2.2 The Company will confirm the booking of the HBot once the Customer has provided all the relevant information and agreed to the terms and conditions.
3. Payment
3.1 The Customer must pay the full fee for hiring the HBot in advance of its use, plus deposit.
3.2 The fee covers the hire of the HBot for two months. Additional fees will apply for extended periods.
3.3 If the Customer cancels the booking within 7 days of the scheduled delivery date, they will be liable for the full fee.

4. Use of the HBot
4.1 The Customer must ensure that the HBot is used in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions and guidelines.
Operation of the Soft Shell Chamber must adhere to the following guidelines in compliance with UK regulations:
- The chamber must only be operated by individuals who have received appropriate training for its use.
- The chamber should always be positioned in a location free from surrounding objects that could potentially rub against or apply pressure to it.
- It is essential that the chamber is used in a well-ventilated room to ensure safe operation.
- The oxygen concentrator must be connected directly to a mains plug socket and must not be used with an extension lead.
- Sharp objects are strictly prohibited inside the chamber to prevent damage or injury.
- The chamber must be used away from direct sunlight and heaters of any kind
- Applied Technology Ltd cannot be held liable for any misuse or improper operation of the chamber.
4.2 The Customer must ensure that the HBot is operated by a qualified and trained operator and that the use/operation of the chamber requires at least two persons.
4.3 The Customer must ensure that the HBot is used in a safe and appropriate manner, taking into account any health or medical conditions of the user(s).
4.4 The Company reserves the right to refuse access to the HBot if it deems the use is not safe or appropriate.
5. Liability
5.1 The Company will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage that may arise from the use of the HBot.
5.2 The Customer is responsible for ensuring they have appropriate insurance cover, with minimum coverage as dictated by UK law, for any potential liability arising from the use of the HBot.
6. Termination
6.1 The Company reserves the right to terminate the hire of the HBot at any time if the Customer breaches any of these terms and conditions.
6.2 The Customer may terminate the hire of the HBot by providing at least seven days’ written notice to the Company.
7. Returns and Damages
7.1 Upon the termination of the hire period, the Customer must return the HBot in its original condition. Any damage or malfunction not resulting from regular use will be the responsibility of the Customer.
7.2 The Customer may be charged for repairs or replacements due to damage caused during their hire period.
7.3 Failure to meet an Engineer on the day or time of pickup will result in an additional month’s charge for rental.
8. Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
9. Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the parties and supersede all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between them.
10. Amendments
These terms and conditions may only be amended in writing and signed by both parties.
