Hyperbaric Chamber (Sit-Up) for Home and Professional Use
The Oxygens Hyperbaric Chamber (Sit-Up) combines controlled pressure of up to 1.5 ATA with a bright, spacious upright interior and straightforward one-person operation. It is professionally installed by an Oxygens pressure-system-trained engineer and supplied with full user training, UK servicing, repair support and lifetime product guidance.
Hyperbaric Chamber Comfort Without Needing to Lie Flat
The Oxygens Hyperbaric Chamber (Sit-Up) is designed for customers who prefer a comfortable upright position during their sessions. Its generous headroom, large curved viewing windows and bright interior create a more open and reassuring environment than many enclosed chamber designs.
Supportive internal padding allows the user to sit comfortably, relax, read or watch a screen. Once trained, the chamber can be operated from inside by one person, making it practical for private home use as well as clinics, sports recovery facilities and professional wellness settings.
Gradual and controlled mild hyperbaric pressurisation using filtered ambient air.
Creates a bright, spacious-feeling interior and maintains visibility with the room outside.
Provides support and comfort during longer wellness and recovery sessions.
Internal controls allow a trained user to manage normal operation from inside the chamber.
A layered three-zip closure system helps create and maintain the controlled pressurised environment.
Three pressure-relief valves support pressure control, airflow and over-pressure protection.
Oxygen at approximately 93% ± 3% purity is delivered separately through the included mask system.
The chamber can be serviced and repaired in the UK by Oxygens’ experienced engineering team.
Why Choose an Oxygens Hyperbaric Chamber?
A hyperbaric chamber is a long-term investment, so the company behind it matters. Oxygens is not simply a reseller forwarding a boxed import and relying on an overseas factory when support is needed.
Our UK team works directly with chamber preparation, testing, installation, servicing and repair. This gives customers a clear route to qualified help, replacement parts and ongoing technical support throughout the working life of the equipment.
Practical British manufacturing and engineering experience behind every Oxygens system.
Installed and tested at your premises by an Oxygens pressure-system-trained engineer.
One-to-one guidance covering operation, oxygen use, routine checks and emergency procedures.
Fault diagnosis, maintenance, replacement parts and engineer support are available through Oxygens.
Customers can continue contacting our UK team for guidance after the original warranty ends.
Advice comes from a team familiar with the chamber rather than a general sales desk.

Hyperbaric Chamber (Sit-Up) Information and FAQs
Open each section for detailed information about oxygen, safety, installation, training, servicing and everyday operation.
How does the Hyperbaric Chamber (Sit-Up) work?
The chamber is gradually pressurised using filtered ambient air supplied by the compressor system. As pressure builds, the user equalises their ears in a similar way to travelling in an aircraft.
The chamber can operate at up to 1.5 ATA. ATA means atmospheres absolute and describes the total pressure inside the chamber.
During the session, the user breathes concentrated oxygen through a separate mask connected to the supplied oxygen concentrator. The chamber itself is not filled with pure oxygen.
What oxygen purity does the Hyperbaric Chamber system provide?
The included oxygen concentrator produces oxygen at approximately 93% ± 3% purity under its specified operating conditions. This is often described more simply as oxygen with a purity of up to approximately 95%.
Oxygen is delivered through a mask rather than released directly into the chamber. The amount inhaled by the user can vary according to mask fit, oxygen flow, breathing pattern and equipment setup.
What safety features does the Hyperbaric Chamber include?
The Hyperbaric Chamber (Sit-Up) includes several practical safety and pressure-control features:
- Controlled operating pressure of up to 1.5 ATA.
- A triple-zip pressure-seal system.
- Three pressure-relief safety valves.
- Emergency depressurisation capability.
- Internal and external operating controls.
- Pressure-rated hoses, valves and connections.
- Filtered-air pressurisation.
- Separate oxygen mask delivery.
Safety also depends on correct installation, user training, routine checks and planned servicing. These form part of the wider Oxygens support package rather than being left entirely to the customer.
Can the Hyperbaric Chamber be operated by one person?
Yes. The Hyperbaric Chamber (Sit-Up) is designed for straightforward one-person operation once the user has completed their training.
Internal controls allow the user to manage normal pressurisation and depressurisation from inside the chamber. External controls are also provided where another person is assisting.
During installation, your engineer will demonstrate entering the chamber, closing the three zips correctly, starting the system, equalising ear pressure, using the oxygen mask and finishing the session safely.
Why is the Hyperbaric Chamber professionally installed?
An Oxygens Hyperbaric Chamber is not simply dropped at the door for the customer to assemble alone. It is installed by an experienced, pressure-system-trained engineer.
Before delivery, our team can review the proposed room, access route, available floor space and electrical supply. During installation, the engineer:
- Positions the chamber and supporting equipment.
- Connects the compressor and oxygen concentrator.
- Checks valves, hoses, seals and controls.
- Pressurises and operationally tests the system.
- Demonstrates normal and emergency procedures.
- Provides one-to-one user training.

What Hyperbaric Chamber training is included?
Practical user training is included as part of the professional installation. It covers:
- Pre-use chamber checks.
- Closing the triple-zip pressure seal.
- Gradual pressurisation.
- Equalising ear pressure.
- Using the oxygen mask system.
- Monitoring the session.
- Normal depressurisation.
- Emergency depressurisation.
- Cleaning and routine care.
- When to contact Oxygens for support.
Professional customers can also access the Oxygens CPD-certified hyperbaric training course .
Can the Hyperbaric Chamber be serviced and repaired in the UK?
Our chambers are built to last, to the highest safety standards - fully, tested, serviced and professionally installed by our expert UK team. Unlike imported systems, the chamber is serviceable and repairable in the UK by the Oxygens engineering team.
Depending on the system and usage, servicing may include:
- Pressure and operational checks.
- Valve inspection.
- Hose, zip and seal checks.
- Compressor assessment.
- Oxygen purity testing.
- Airflow checks.
- Electrical and control checks.
- Replacement of worn components.
Remote fault diagnosis can often begin using photographs, videos or a live video call. Where required, Oxygens can arrange an engineer visit or workshop repair.
What does lifetime Hyperbaric Chamber product support mean?
Lifetime product support means that Oxygens customers can continue contacting our UK team for technical guidance throughout the working life of their chamber.
Support can include questions about operation, pressure, airflow, oxygen delivery, controls, mask connections, routine maintenance, fault diagnosis, servicing and replacement components.
It does not mean every future repair or component is supplied free of charge. It means customers are not left without a knowledgeable point of contact when the original warranty period ends.
How is an Oxygens Hyperbaric Chamber different from a boxed import?
Some imported chambers are purchased as completed products by a reseller who may have limited involvement in their original design, assembly, testing or long-term servicing.
Oxygens works directly across chamber preparation, testing, installation, operator training, fault diagnosis, servicing and repair. This allows us to provide practical UK support rather than relying solely on an overseas factory or translated instruction manual.
Customers therefore have access to:
- A UK engineering and support team.
- Professional installation.
- Full user training.
- UK servicing and repairs.
- Replacement parts.
- Ongoing technical guidance.
