Your hire questions answered
What happens after the first four months?
You can purchase under the agreed hire-to-buy terms, continue hiring monthly or arrange collection. Notice requirements and collection arrangements are set out in your hire agreement.
How does the hire-to-buy credit work?
Up to four monthly hire payments can be credited against the agreed hire-to-buy purchase price. Hiring for longer does not increase the maximum credit. Installation and collection are separate charges; deposit treatment and the final purchase balance are confirmed in writing.
The hire-to-buy price and direct purchase price are different, so our team will explain both options before you commit.
Is the security deposit refundable?
The £6,000 security deposit is refundable subject to the hire agreement, including equipment condition and settlement of any outstanding charges. If you purchase, the treatment of your deposit is confirmed in the purchase arrangements.
What are my responsibilities as the hirer?
- Follow the supplied training, operating instructions and maintenance guidance.
- Ensure appropriate user screening, supervision and a suitable operating environment.
- Do not relocate, repair or modify the equipment without written consent.
- For business use, maintain suitable insurance, including public liability cover.
- Damage beyond normal wear, misuse and call-outs caused by user error may be chargeable under the hire terms.
Monthly hire payments are payable in advance. The chamber remains Oxygens' property until purchased in full. Minimum-term charges remain payable, and late payments may lead to recovery under the agreement.
What servicing and business documentation are needed?
Follow the supplied maintenance schedule and arrange servicing with Oxygens. We will explain the servicing arrangements and responsibilities for your hire.
Business customers should discuss examination requirements, insurance and relevant documentation, including a Written Scheme of Examination where applicable, before installation.
What should users know before a session?
The Winslet is supplied for non-medical wellbeing use. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent a medical condition, and is not a substitute for medical care.
Seek independent medical advice where appropriate, particularly during pregnancy or where there are respiratory, cardiovascular, ear or other health concerns. Suitability must be considered before use.
Possible effects include ear pressure, sinus discomfort, fatigue, light-headedness or headaches. If discomfort occurs, alert the attendant and follow the supplied procedure for ending the session safely.
Operate only in accordance with training and instructions. Do not take radios, lithium-battery products or other electronic devices inside unless their suitability has been specifically confirmed and Oxygens has authorised their use.
