Oxygen Purity – Our concentrators deliver oxygen at up to ~95% purity (in line with ISO 80601-2-69/UKCA).
Inhaled Oxygen (FiO₂) – When supplied via mask in a mild hyperbaric chamber, the percentage you actually breathe typically falls within 60-90%, depending on mask fit, airflow and breathing pattern.
Pressure & Exposure – The chamber operates at up to 1.3-1.5 ATA. Due to increased pressure, your body absorbs significantly more oxygen (thanks to Henry’s Law and Dalton’s Law), meaning your total oxygen exposure can equal or exceed the amount from breathing 100% oxygen at normal sea-level pressure.
What these numbers mean for you – The “up to 95% oxygen” claim refers to the purity of the oxygen supplied. The increased pressure in the chamber is what multiplies the effect, so even though inhaled oxygen may vary, the oxygen dose your body receives remains powerful and effective.
